Social Compliance Policy

  1. FORCED LABOR (VOLUNTARY WORK)

Our company does not make any employee perform compulsory labor. The working principles in our company are based on volunteerism. If the employee quits the job, the company cannot prevent or postpone it except for security reasons. All kinds of information about our employees are protected and kept confidential to the extent specified by law.

  1. CHILD LABOR (UNDERAGE EMPLOYEES)

Child labor is not accepted in any way in our company. Except for compulsory cases such as trainees, etc., the minimum age determined by national and international laws is taken into account.

  1. DISCRIMINATION (EGALITARIAN APPROACH)

Our company has a deep-rooted commitment to ensure equality. As the management, we are determined to maintain our organization as an institution free from discrimination or physical or verbal abuse based on race, gender, color, nationality, social origin, religion, age, disability, political opinion, or any value protected by applicable law. The selection of personnel for our company is made based on minimum qualifications such as open positions, education, interests, talent, and work experience.

Our company does not tolerate corruption, fraud, embezzlement, or bribery in any way.

  1. WORKING HOURS AND WAGES (WAGE/SALARY)

Our company gives its employees competitive wages according to the sectoral and local labor market. Our practices are carried out in full compliance with applicable laws and employment contracts on wages, working hours, overtime, and benefits. We offer our employees opportunities to develop their skills and capacities and support these efforts by providing opportunities to advance as much as possible. Gender, religion, language, race discrimination in wages/salaries, and promotions are not made in our company. The lowest salary in our company is the minimum wage.

  1. HEALTH and SAFETY

A safe and healthy work environment is created and protected by our company. By reducing the risk of exposure to accidents, injuries, and other health threats, as well as by creating a work environment where they can do so securely, healthily, and effectively, the company aims to ensure the continuity of our employees. We take care to ensure that there is no aggression, harassment, threats, abuse, or upsetting circumstances at work. Every workplace health and safety regulation mandated by law is implemented in our business.

  1. COMMITMENT WITH SOCIETY AND STAKEHOLDERS

Our company is dedicated to building trusting relationships with its stakeholders by hearing their opinions, learning from their perspectives, and considering those opinions. Employees can talk their issues with the representatives in this situation and can report them in writing to the suggestion boxes because the employee representatives are chosen under the law. We are dedicated to conversing with stakeholders about workplace-related and impact-related workplace rights issues when it is appropriate.

  1. EMPLOYMENT OF FOREIGN WORKERS (EMPLOYMENT OF FOREIGN WORKERS)

Employment contracts for foreign employees who are employed/will be employed under our laws in our company are arranged in the language they understand. All personnel transactions from the time of employment to the process of leaving the job are carried out under the legal regulations in force. Under no circumstances shall the employee be employed on a debited basis. The legal rights of foreign workers to work are protected by our company. Our company does not employ illegal workers.

  1. REST DAYS and HOLIDAYS

In accordance with their legal rights, our workers cannot be deprived of time off for vacation or other forms of rest. One day of vacation time per week is provided to workers who work six days per week.

  1. RECRUITMENT and EMPLOYMENT

The management of our business determines the open positions it needs to fill and executes hiring under the law and within the confines of predetermined guidelines. (egalitarian approach, leave, wage, holiday, employment contract, etc.).

  1. EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT (EMPLOYER AGREEMENTS)

An “Indefinite Term Employment Contract” is prepared between our company and the person to be employed, which includes the conditions offered to the workplace and the laws and to the candidate personnel. Personnel who agree to take office are made to sign an “Indefinite Term Employment Contract and Overtime Consent Agreement”. A copy of the employment contract is given to the employee in exchange for a signature, and with the orientation training, our company and all the rules and regulations required by the work are transferred to the relevant personnel.

  1. WORKER DISCIPLINE AND LABOR

The disciplinary rules determined by our company to ensure disciplined work are applied. The Company does not impose any sanctions of wage deduction to discipline its employee. All our employees carry out their work following the working procedure instructions.

  1. Young Worker / Working Hours

A meeting is planned between employees and the employer on social rights and working order. The working hours of the young worker are 40 hours, and the working hours of those over-18s are 45 hours.

  1. Collective Bargaining / Trade Union Right

Our employees are given the right to collective bargaining and the right to be a member of a union. In the “Indefinite Term Employment Contract”, it is stated that our employees can use these rights.

  1. PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT

We manage the environmental impacts that may arise from all our activities with a sense of responsibility. In all our activities, we identify and implement all kinds of improvement and development activities that will eliminate or minimize environmental impacts and use natural resources most efficiently. All the principles contained in this policy document are transferred to the implementation with the necessary regulations and the level of implementation is controlled by the relevant department. We consider the success of our company in social responsibility practices as an important criterion in the evaluation of our company’s performance. This policy document has been prepared to share with all our employees, all our stakeholders, and all our business partners a clear commitment that our company will fulfill all its responsibilities for a better world and future.
